OpenCellID collect cells with your mobile.png

This page lists a number of smartphone apps that allow to contribute GSM cell tower measurements to the OpenCellID database.

Android smartphone apps

Get Cell ID GetCellid-01.png This is an open web app, targeted at Firefox OS and tested initially on the Geeksphone Peak, that grabs the current cellular network ID (the MCC, MNC, LAC and Cell ID) and displays it.
The app will also, optionally, upload this information to OpenCellID.org, Mozilla Location Services and/or a custom URL.
