Open the OpenCellID download page and use your API token to access the available downloads.
We provide country files, a full dataset and daily change files. Choose the smallest dataset that covers your work.
Attribution required
When sharing OpenCellID data under CC BY-SA 4.0, credit OpenCelliD and link to the source and license. Attribution helps people discover and contribute to the project. See License and attribution for credit text, placement guidance and how to request an exception.
Read the data
Use the database format reference for column meanings, units and timestamps. Download column names differ from API parameter names—for example, net, area and cell appear in the export.
Large files may exceed a spreadsheet's row limit. Use a CSV processing tool, script or database for bulk imports.
Coverage and updates
Coverage varies by area, operator and radio technology because the dataset depends on community observations. A download is not a complete inventory of all cells. See Coverage and missing cells.
We generate exports daily by 02:00 GMT. Downloads include towers observed in the last 18 months; the API also provides access to older data.
